Merry Bauble Wildflower Stitching

Definition of Gift: Something given willingly to someone without expected payment or return. A present.

There is something special about giving a gift, not just for the person receiving it, but for the giver as well. This is the part of my bauble series.  I created this one because “merry” is a word that fully embodies the holidays. It is stitched in a rich red. I feel it perfectly symbolizes the joy of the season while celebrating the magic of Christmas giving.

Stitch count is 71x71

Fabric is 36ct

Stitched one strand of floss over two fabric threads

Threads: MNM Antherium Fire, WDW watermelon or DMC 309

This pattern uses only full crosses.
