October Greetings!
So many things to tell y’all!
Needlepoint Alert!
I am going to market in Frisco in 2 weeks. Yes, I know I told several of y’all it was this weekend, my apologies! If there is something you would like me to look for or a designer to check out, please email or text me. Check out the Autumn Needlepoint Reunion web page for a list of attending vendors. Additionally, I have started carrying Planet Earth Silk from Tilli Tomas for 13 mesh canvas. Very pretty, check it out!
Cross Stitch News!
The last few things from the August Needlework Marketplace are still trickling into the shop. So many new designers at this last market. Look for Maiden Marsh, Flossy Fox Shop, Quartnion and more! There has been a lot of buzz about Pirate + Robin, what do y’all think? To carry it or not to carry it? That is the question. Don’t forget to look at the Just Arrived tab to see what is new!
Classes!
I just posted a schedule for beginner cross stitch and beginner needlepoint classes. I will be posting a beginner class for embroidery when I get a sample made! Be sure to check out the Stitch Along for the Texted Treasures Stitch Library. This is a really neat project that can be as large or as small as you want. The stitch book is divided into pages or single kits. If you want to try something new, but not too new, this is a great option.
Sales!
All the regular monthly sales: RED Friday for Patriotic things, 1st Friday Fabric, 3rd Thursday Thread. This month’s DOM (Designer of the Month) is Sue Hillis Designs. Designing since 1976, she has something for everyone! This year’s 12 Days of Christmas Savings will start December 5th.
Toys for Tots!
We will be a collection point for Toys for Tots again this year. We start collecting Oct 15th and end December 14th.
Retreat!
I hope you all had a nice time at September Stitches 2025! I hope to have more information for y’all next month, but you can pencil in September 11-13, 2026 for now. As with years past, I will send out an email with the registration opening date and time. I do not take pre-registrations so everyone has the same opportunity to register and attend.
Stitch Afloat!
I have the opportunity to schedule a Stitch Cruise from Galveston in the Spring. I am looking at a 4-day excursion running around $7-800(hopefully). If you are interested, please let me know! If you have done one before, please let me know! I would love input on things like projects, stitching groups, classes, goodies, excursions. I have been chatting with a travel agent that would coordinate it for us so, input please!
That’s all folks!
Cheers!
Lisa
