Toys for Tots
The shop is pleased to participated in the USMC toy drive again this year. We will have our donation box out until December 18th. Please help us fill it!

November Blooms Retreat
The 1st November Blooms in New Braunfels Retreat was great! We had a full house and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I would like to thank everyone for all their help and support! The 2nd November Blooms is currently under construction! I am in research mode and have created a sign up/wait list for it. Please put your name on the list if you are interested in getting more information and/or want to come next year. I am still looking at the first week of November, but at bigger venues in the area. December Days
December has things happening! In addition to our regular sales (see above) we will have the 12 Days of Christmas. I do this every year with a different special, discount or game for each of the 12 days prior to the holiday. Generally I have wassil and cookies in the shop as well. Bring a project, sit, munch, stitch and all that jazz!
Looking for...
1 - I am looking for helpers in the shop! As more folks find the shop, (I think we finally fixed Google!) I am getting busier. I need a few more folks trained in the use of the computer and cutting fabric for busy days like Saturdays and sale days. My husband is a trooper, but he does have a job and he hates cutting fabric!
2 - Teachers! I am making the schedule for classes this year. Over the last year have spoken with a few folks interested in teaching this or that. Please get in touch with me so I can get your class on the calender for the coming year. Email me at lisa@goldeneedle.com so we can settle the details.
Finishing
Lastly (yes, the irony) finishers. I have had several folks request information regarding having pieces "finished". I now have a local finisher that is working with the shop! She is in addition to the finisher I refer people to in the north Austin area and the company in Houston I send items to. Currently, my local finisher is only doing cross stitch, but plans to expand her services. Additioanlly, if you are a finisher in the area and would like to work through the shop or have referrals, please let me know!
As I said at the beginning, hopefully I haven't forgotten anything!! Be sure and check the calendar for sales and events!
