Golden Needle's 2026 retreat will be at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Texas. We have a block of rooms at the hotel (link provided after registration). This year's event will begin at 3:30 pm on Friday September 11th and end at 4pm on Sunday, September 13th. Friday and Saturday evenings run to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings commence at 9am. The cost is $125 with a $5 option to have a boxed lunch. This year we are planning on having a swap, a brag table, a vendor event, Needlework Marketplace showcase, door prizes and more!
Table Info - 6 person tables with power strips/towers on each table.
Brag Table - an open table for you to bring your finishes to share.
Swap Table - an open table to give away old charts, supplies, etc. *Please do not bring working copies of charts.
Patriotic Smalls Swap - This year's theme is patriotic for two reasons: the 250th anniversary of our country and we are starting the retreat on 9-11. Stitch and finish a small project to trade in an exchange activity. Please wrap your small and include a minder as well. Don't forget your name so the recipient will know who made their prize!
Game Table - a table for Left, Right, Center game. This will be open a couple of times during the weekend. If you would like to play, bring 3 skeins of thread to participate.
Vendor Tables - open on Saturday evening for people attending the event. Cost for a table is $20.
*Cancellation Policy- refunds from the retreat (hotel has separate policy) only through 1 September.
